It's May so the April numbers are in. As of early May, we remain in a "Seller's Market" due to low housing inventory combined with those still low-interest rates. Buyers are slugging through an extremely competitive market, and many are experiencing some frustration with the lack of home inventory. While low inventory in the early spring months is not unusual in any year, it is more extreme this year. We do hope and expect sellers to begin to show up but also for the market to remain fairly competitive throughout the selling season, Obviously, if you are thinking about selling, you are still in the driver's seat. After a bit of an uptick in the last couple of months, interest rates seem to have stabilized for the time being. You can still win with these rates, but because it's very competitive on the buyer's side and you will need strong representation.
